The Ongoing Work of the Holy Spirit

Pentecost was the gateway event for the disciples’ continued impact upon the world. The presence of the Holy Spirit would allow them to continue the work of Jesus and do it in ways that were not hindered had He stayed with them. Pentecost was the fulfillment of Jesus‘ previous words to his disciples that it was good for them that He would leave them because the Spirit was coming!
