Giving

You can give online or via an app. The choice is yours. Below are instructions for using a mobile app.

1. Download the Tithely App from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). Once you've downloaded the app, select your church and follow the steps listed below (for using a Giving Form). 

2. Since this is your first time giving with Tithely, you will be prompted to create an account that you can use for all future gifts. 

3. The first time, you will also need to add your credit/debit card or ACH/banking info. 

4. Once your account has been created, you won’t need to enter your personal or payment information. Just enter your PIN and give!

You can make both one-time and recurring gifts, give with a credit/debit card or ACH transaction, and even Cover the Fees (which will help your gift go even further)!

Yes. If you plan to make more than one donation through the online portal, we suggest that you create an account (use the Sign Up option at the upper right corner of the online giving page or select recurring via the app). This will make future donations and management of recurring payments much easier.

Tithely now supports Link, a fast and secure payment method powered by Stripe, in the Tithely Giving App and Giving Form. Link allows donors to save and reuse their payment information for future contributions with just a few clicks.

However, Link does NOT create a donor account for you. If you plan to give a recurring gift, you will need to create a donor account. Please see our FAQ for recurring gifts.

Unless directed otherwise, your donations will be applied to the General Fund, which supports Immanuel’s annual operating budget. You can also designate some or all of a donation to one or more of our reserve funds. The online giving form includes the three most common: Deacon Fund, Food Pantry, and Long-Term Maintenance. Fund-raising appeals throughout the year may mention other funds that can also be designated here.

Through an Investment Account. The most common are Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from a traditional IRA; grants to IPC from a Donor Advised Fund; redemptions from other investment accounts; and Gifts of Stock. Check with your financial advisor on these or other options that may be available to you.

If you regularly make donations in cash or with a check, we encourage you to switch to online giving when you are ready.

Online giving with Tithely makes it fast and simple to donate, and also reduces the amount of administrative labor we need to process gifts in cash or with a check.
