The Ascension of Jesus can easily be overlooked, especially at the expense of emphasizing the death and resurrection of Jesus. But what we find in focusing on it is that it helps cement (like the other two events) the teaching of Jesus that we know from Scripture. With regard to embracing the Sovereignty, might, and rule of Jesus, His Ascension helps us move from the theoretical to the actual!
