No Sacrifice

In the story of Abraham's near sacrifice of Isaac, we see perhaps the clearest picture of the Gospel in the OT- God will do what Abraham does not have to do, God will sacrifice His own Son!  And through this narrative we see how Abraham's faith is truly a model for us in principle, if not in dramatic practice.
