Advent Two: The Embodiment of Love

The worship service will begin at 10:30.

On this second Sunday of Advent we examine God's love revealed in the Incarnation. Jesus was literally the "embodiment of love."  While we're tempted to focus on our actions and even strive to derive moral lessons from His birth story, we should remember that the birth narratives are given to compel us to worship Jesus in His true identity.  The nativity is not told to spur us on to activity!
