Free to Love

As we continue to explore the subjects of sin and love in chapter 3 of I John, we see John's dualistic approach to both is revealed.  Here sin is contrasted with life and death, and believers with the world.  Our passage this morning reveals the root and historical nature of sin, and the fact that attempts to theorize sin or justify it by any other standard than Scripture ring hollow.
