A Different Kind of King

The worship service will begin at 10:30.

In contrast to our present leaders, Jesus allowed Himself to be misunderstood and refused to impose His will or power in a situation that could easily have called for it.  In this narrative from Luke chapter 19 we see that no matter how puzzling the event and the crowd's reaction seems to us, His "triumphal entry" is congruent with Holy Week and the greater arc of His mission.
