Advent One: Making Room for Hope

On this first Sunday of Advent we address the subject of Hope. While hope seems to exist in very small quantities in our world today, Scripture reminds us that we can always place our hope in God and trust Him with our future no matter the circumstances. God's faithfulness demonstrated to His people through history as well as the certainty of the "Second Advent" of Jesus provide more than enough fuel for our hopes today.
