Caretakers of the Truth

As we continue our study of I John in chapter 2, we see seemingly apocalyptic terms like "last hour" and "antichrists."  John instead uses these terms to instil in his readers the serious nature of heretical teaching.  In John's day and ours, what has been witnessed by the apostles and revealed by the Spirit concerning the truth of Jesus is more than enough truth to stand firm in!
